West Edmeston occurs as hamlet on the Unadilla River on the border the Town of Brookfield in Madison County, New York and the Town of Edmeston in Otsego County, New York.

History
In Aug 24, 1898, the new Foremost Day Baptist Church building was opened around West Edmeston. the idea for a Church was conceived inside January of 1897. Inside Feb. of 1898 a Church was formally organized & admitted to the Otsego County Baptist Association.
